Phase I Environmental Assessments for Commercial Transactions
Our office performs "All Appropriate Inquiry" Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) following the current ASTM Standard E1527-13 and Limited Environmental Due Diligence Studies via the Transaction Screen Process per ASTM E1528-14. Highly qualified Environmental Professionals on our staff have performed numerous Phase I ESAs at commercial, industrial, and undeveloped properties to help the clients, including financial or lending entities, through comprehensive mergers, acquisitions, or development of properties.

Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance
There are many ways in which our knowledgeable team may assist you and your facility in evaluating or strengthening compliance.
EHS Audits, as an example, would involve facility inspections where evaluation of permitting requirements and operations would be performed in addition to facility conditions and material balance assessments (incl. water usage, energy consumption, emissions, discharges, wastewater, waste, among others). The previous in combination with files review which includes permits (conditions and requirements), evaluation of report obligations, records, programs, plans, policies, and training. Our approach has been considered and has proven to be optimal in determining and performing compliance gap analyses. Results may render tools for identifying areas of potential liability as well as areas of improvement and basis for feasibility of alternatives.
